GERT SIBANDE RALLIES FOR EDUCATION WITH #TUTORME FUNDRAISING CONCERT

The Gert Sibande District is turning up the volume for a cause that truly matters! The #TutorMe Fundraising Concert, set for Saturday, 3 May 2025, is more than just a celebration – it’s a movement to empower youth through education.

This district-wide event aims to raise funds to help Grade 12 learners from across Gert Sibande with university applications, registration, and accommodation fees. By simply buying a ticket, the public becomes part of a life-changing mission to make higher education accessible to all.

The day kicks off with intention. From 10AM to 12PM, communities will unite in a powerful prayer session tackling critical issues like gender-based violence, teenage pregnancy, underage drinking, and praying for safe holiday travels.

Then from 12PM till late, it’s time to celebrate hope and possibility with a powerhouse music lineup that includes Makhadzi, Kelly Khumalo, Major League DJz, Aymos, Shebeshxt, Dumi Mkokstad, Hlengiwe Mhlaba, Sun-EL Musician, Naledi Aphiwe, and many more – blazing two stages at once in:

• AJ Swanepoel Stadium, Ermelo

• Lilian Ngoyi Stadium, Secunda

Gates open at 9AM.
